This is a 2026 holiday gift guide for Zelda and Nintendo fans: 14 real, currently sold gifts grouped by price, from a $12 manga to a $520 anniversary Switch 2. The short answer: if they own a Nintendo Switch 2, get them the new Ocarina of Time (out Nov. 5), and if they don’t, LEGO Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle is the big win.
The Legend of Zelda turns 40 this year, and Nintendo’s anniversary Direct in September added a rebuilt Ocarina of Time, a Zelda-themed Switch 2 and matching gear to an already busy shelf. I’ve mixed official games, books and LEGO with three handmade Etsy pieces from shops that make their own designs, not copies of Nintendo art. Prices below are ranges, and they change.

- Best cheap pick: the Ocarina of Time Legendary Edition manga (about $12–20), which pairs perfectly with the remake.
- Best splurge: LEGO Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle (about $130), a 1,003-piece display with a brick-built Ganon.

- The anniversary Switch 2, Pro Controller and case land Oct. 29. Preorder or set a reminder.
Zelda Gifts Under $25
Stocking stuffers and Secret Santa gifts. Two classic Zelda comics, plus two handmade pieces that feel like they came out of Link’s inventory.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Legendary Edition (manga)
About $12–20 · Readers 8+ who want the story before the remake.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (graphic novel)
About $16–20 · Retro fans who grew up on the SNES.
Glow-in-the-Dark Fairy Water Potion Necklace
About $24 · Fans who’d keep a fairy in a bottle, just in case.

Cora’s note: The Ocarina of Time Legendary Edition collects two volumes of Akira Himekawa’s manga in one 378-page book with new covers and color art. Give it with the remake and they get the story twice, two ways. The two Etsy picks are the makers’ own designs with no Nintendo art on them. A glowing fairy bottle and a battered adventurer’s notebook just happen to feel very Hyrule.

Which Zelda game should you pick?
Ocarina of Time is the headline. Nintendo rebuilt the visuals for Switch 2 and added voiced cutscenes, expanded dialogue and orchestral music. You can even play Link’s ocarina by humming into the Switch 2 microphone. Early physical copies come with textured foil cover art while supplies last.
Age of Imprisonment is a hack-and-slash spin-off set during the Imprisoning War from Tears of the Kingdom’s backstory, with two-player local co-op. Echoes of Wisdom is the cheapest of the three and the only one that also runs on the original Switch. Zelda is the hero, and she solves puzzles by copying objects and monsters.

Zelda Gifts Over $75
Big-ticket gifts for the fan you really want to impress, from a LEGO showpiece to the anniversary Switch 2 itself.
LEGO The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle (77093)
About $130 · Adult fans who want a display piece.
Switch 2 Pro Controller, Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition
About $100–110 (out Oct. 29) · Couch players who want the fancy controller.
Handmade 12-Hole Ceramic Ocarina (Alto C)
About $80–90 · Fans who want to learn the songs for real.
Nintendo Switch 2, Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition
About $520 (out Oct. 29) · The fan who doesn’t own a Switch 2 yet.
The LEGO set is 1,003 pieces, rated 18+, and recreates the final fight with a large brick-built Ganon, plus Link, Zelda, Ganondorf and a see-through Navi. The anniversary Switch 2 has green-and-gold Joy-Con 2 controllers and a Triforce dock, but no game in the box, so budget for Ocarina of Time on top.
Focalinkmiami’s ocarina is hand-glazed and ships from Miami. A 12-hole alto C ocarina covers a wider range of notes than the small toy kind, which is what you want for playing real songs.

Before You Buy
- Switch or Switch 2? Ocarina of Time and Age of Imprisonment run only on Switch 2. Echoes of Wisdom and Mineru’s Construct also work on the original Switch.
- Mind the release dates. The anniversary Switch 2, Pro Controller and carrying case arrive Oct. 29, and Ocarina of Time on Nov. 5. Preorder or set a reminder, since special-edition hardware often sells out.
- Don’t wait for these. LEGO Link & Epona is due in spring 2027, and Dark Horse moved the Secrets of the Zonai art book to March 30, 2027. Neither makes it under the tree this year.
- The Great Deku Tree LEGO set (77092) was out of stock at LEGO.com when I checked. If you spot it restocked near its $300 list price, it’s a great splurge. Skip reseller markups.
- Handmade takes time. Etsy makers need days to build and ship. Order by early December and check each listing’s delivery estimate.
- Skip Etsy listings with official art. Shops that sell printed Zelda logos or characters usually don’t hold the license. Pick original designs, like the ones here.
Cora’s Top Three
Top pick: Ocarina of Time for Switch 2
It’s the anniversary game. New players get the adventure many fans call the best Zelda, rebuilt with voices and an orchestra, and old fans get a reason to replay it. Grab a physical copy early for the foil cover. The catch: it’s Switch 2 only, so check their console first.
Best cheap pick: Ocarina of Time Legendary Edition manga
For under $20 you get the whole Ocarina story in one thick volume, and it lands right before the remake. It works as a stocking stuffer or as a bundle with the game. Runner-up: MoniqueLula’s glowing fairy bottle necklace.
Best splurge: LEGO Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle
It’s a big, dramatic scene from the most-loved moment in the series, and at about $130 it costs far less than the Deku Tree. It’s a satisfying build that ends up on a shelf for years. If they still don’t have a Switch 2, the anniversary console is the bigger splurge, but it’s the less personal gift.
