Dark green Joy-Con 2 controllers with Triforce details and a dock with a gold Triforce, for $20 more than a standard Switch 2. No game is included, so budget for Ocarina of Time on top. Preorders sold out at many stores; skip resellers charging far over list.

Green and black grips, a gold Triforce in the middle and a Hylian crest on top. It’s about $100; a version with a display stand is about $110 from Nintendo’s store.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
About $80 · Best for: Switch 2 owners who finished Breath of the Wild and want the sequel.
The sequel to Breath of the Wild, in its Switch 2 Edition. Pair it with the Mineru’s Construct amiibo from our $25–75 guide for a themed gift.
The anniversary Switch 2 and Pro Controller sold out fast in preorders. If you can’t find them at list price, the standard Switch 2 plus Ocarina of Time is the same gift for the person, just less green.
Zelda LEGO and Collector Books Over $75

All 11 volumes of Akira Himekawa’s Twilight Princess manga (2,040 pages) plus a double-sided poster. It lists at $129.99 but is often cheaper. Stock comes and goes, so check before you count on it.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Creating a Champion, Hero’s Edition
About $80–100 · Best for: Breath of the Wild fans who love art books.
The 424-page art book with an exclusive cover, a cloth map of Hyrule, an art print of the Champions’ photo and a glass spirit orb replica, all in a blue slipcase.
The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia, Deluxe Edition
About $90 list, often less · Best for: collectors who remember the gold NES cartridge.
A 328-page encyclopedia of enemies, items and lore, packaged to look like the original gold cartridge, with a velvet-lined sleeve and a mini instruction booklet. It sold out at Dark Horse’s own store, so buy only near list price.

Two full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather pouches with hinged tins inside and antique brass buckles, made in New York. It’s the kind of kit Link would clip to his belt. Only one was left when I checked.
Handmade Full-Grain Leather Satchel
About $135–190, by size · Best for: the adult fan who wants an adventurer’s bag for everyday use.
Hand-stitched cowhide in 14, 16 or 18 inches, with free personalization. No Zelda logo, just a bag that looks like it’s been through Hyrule. It ships from India, so order early.
Before You Buy
- Don’t pay scalper prices. The anniversary Switch 2 lists at $519.99 and the Pro Controller at $99.99. Resellers asked around $1,000 for the console right after preorders opened. Buy at list price or wait for a restock.
- The console has no game. Add Ocarina of Time (about $60–70, out Nov. 5) from our $25–75 guide.
- Skip the Great Deku Tree LEGO. Set 77092 is officially sold out at LEGO. LEGO Link & Epona isn’t due until spring 2027, so The Final Battle is this year’s Zelda LEGO.
- Collector books go in and out of stock. The Encyclopedia Deluxe Edition and Twilight Princess box set were sold out at their publishers’ stores when I checked. Amazon listings can still have them. Check before you promise one.
- Handmade takes time. The satchel ships from India, and the pouch and ocarinas were down to their last few. Order Etsy gifts by late November.
Cora’s Top Three
Top pick: LEGO Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle
It recreates the most famous fight in the series, it’s a satisfying adult build, and it lands on a shelf for years. At about $130, it’s also the most reliable big gift here: LEGO lists it as available now.
Biggest splurge: Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2
For someone without a Switch 2, this is the gift of the year, and it’s only $20 more than the standard console. Pair it with Ocarina of Time. Buy at list price only.
Best handmade: the 12-hole ceramic ocarina
A real instrument they can learn Zelda’s Lullaby on, hand-glazed and shipped free from Miami. It’s a gift that keeps going after the game is finished.
