Saturday’s best game deal is Fallout: New Vegas at $2.49 on Steam, 75% off its $9.99 price. It is Obsidian’s post-apocalyptic RPG, rated Overwhelmingly Positive by 96% of about 170,000 Steam reviewers. Three more Steam picks clear my bar too: Stray, Cult of the Lamb and DREDGE.

Stray is $14.99, Cult of the Lamb is $12.49 and DREDGE is $10.79. Epic’s free pair, Bad Cheese and Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise, is still free until October 22, and a new Double Fine bundle just joined the Humble list.

Today’s Loot: 4 Steam Deals Worth Your Gold

Fallout: New Vegas — Steam

$2.49 on Steam, 75% off its $9.99 price. The Steam page does not list an end date, so treat the price as short-term.

Fallout: New Vegas is Obsidian’s open-world RPG set in the Mojave Wasteland, a post-nuclear desert shaped by rival factions and the glowing city at its center. You pick your path through quests, dialogue and shooting, and your choices decide who rules the Strip. Steam lists it as single-player only.

Best for: RPG fans who love dialogue-heavy stories where your choices matter, and anyone who wants a huge game for the price of a snack.

Gary’s take: Buy. CheapShark’s lowest recorded price is $0.99 from March 2026, so $2.49 misses the floor by a dollar and a half, but it is still 75% off. It is Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam (96% of about 170,000 reviews at time of posting) with an 84 on Metacritic. The G2A global key I saw was about $5.68, well above Steam, so the G2A button is only there for comparison (GLOBAL region, check where it can be activated).

Stray — Steam

$14.99 on Steam, 50% off its $29.99 price. The Steam page does not list an end date, so treat the price as short-term.

Stray is an adventure game where you play a lost cat finding its way through a neon-lit cyber city full of robots and hidden dangers. You explore, solve puzzles and uncover the mystery of the place with the help of a small drone companion. Steam lists it as single-player.

Best for: Cat lovers and atmosphere fans who want a short, gentle adventure with no combat grind.

Gary’s take: Buy if you have been waiting for it, since half off is a solid cut. CheapShark’s lowest recorded price is $11.39 from August 2026, so today misses the floor by about $3.60, and you can wait if you are patient. It is Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam (97% of about 79,800 reviews at time of posting) with an 82 on Metacritic. The G2A global key I saw was about $15.46, a little above Steam, so the Steam price wins today (GLOBAL region, check where it can be activated).

Cult of the Lamb — Steam

$12.49 on Steam, 50% off its $24.99 price. The Steam page does not list an end date, so treat the price as short-term.

Cult of the Lamb is a dungeon crawler where you lead a growing cult of woodland followers. You fight through dangerous regions to recruit followers and then build up your base, with a dark but cute cartoon look. Steam lists single-player along with multiplayer and shared-screen co-op modes.

Best for: Fans of roguelike action who also enjoy base-building and managing a little community.

Gary’s take: Buy if the mix of combat and base-building sounds fun. CheapShark’s lowest recorded price is $9.99 from January 2026, so $12.49 misses the floor by $2.50, and you can wait if you are patient. It is Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam (96% of about 61,000 reviews at time of posting) with an 82 on Metacritic. The G2A global key I saw was about $12.11, only a few percent under Steam, so it is a small comparison button (GLOBAL region, check the seller rating).

DREDGE — Steam

$10.79 on Steam, 60% off its $26.99 price. The Steam page does not list an end date, so treat the price as short-term.

DREDGE is a single-player fishing adventure with a sinister undercurrent. You sail between islands, sell your catch, upgrade your boat and uncover buried secrets, all while something strange waits in the fog after dark.

Best for: Cozy-game fans who like a creepy twist, and anyone who loves a relaxing loop of fishing and upgrading.

Gary’s take: Buy if you want a spooky-cozy game before Halloween. CheapShark’s lowest recorded price is $8.39 from January 2026, so $10.79 misses the floor by about $2.40. It is Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam (96% of about 32,800 reviews at time of posting) with an 80 on Metacritic per CheapShark. The G2A global key I saw was about $8.88, roughly 18% under Steam. Since the Steam sale is running, the Steam button stays big and G2A is the small comparison button (GLOBAL region, check the seller rating and where it can be activated).

Free on Epic Until October 22

Epic’s current free pair, Bad Cheese and Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise, stays free to claim until October 22 at 11 a.m. ET, and the games are yours for good once claimed. The next pair on Epic’s schedule, free from October 22 to October 29, is Home: A Unique Horror Adventure and Sker Ritual. Claim on the Epic free games page.

Bad Cheese — Epic Games Store

Free to keep on the Epic Games Store until October 22 at 11 a.m. ET (it normally sells for $12.99).

Bad Cheese is a short psychological horror game inspired by 1920s animation, made by Simon Lukasik and published by Feardemic. You play a little mouse spending the weekend at home with a father whose temper could go either way while mum is away. It has a creepy old-cartoon look and is meant to be played in one sitting.

Best for: Horror fans who like a short, strange, vintage-cartoon scare in the run-up to Halloween.

Gary’s take: Claim it. Free is the lowest price a game can have, so this giveaway matches the floor, and a short spooky game for nothing is an easy add. I have not checked its Steam reviews yet, so I am not quoting a score.

Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise — Epic Games Store

Free to keep on the Epic Games Store until October 22 at 11 a.m. ET (it normally sells for $19.99).

Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise is a spy puzzle adventure with a colorful, retro 1960s look. You play a secret agent tracking down a dangerous spy named Ruba La Rogue, solving logic and inventory puzzles across a set of environments to catch her.

Best for: Puzzle and adventure fans who like clever, point-and-click style problem solving.

Gary’s take: Claim it. Free matches the floor, and a stylish spy puzzler is worth a spot in your library. I have not checked its Steam reviews yet, so I am not quoting a score.

Humble Bundle Loot

Every Humble Bundle live right now, with tiles for Mega Man, Decked Out Deckbuilders, IGN 30th Anniversary, Trineverse, Indie Fears and more

The Double Fine Publisher Bundle has about 20 days left and gives you 11 games for $8 or more, including Psychonauts, Brutal Legend, Broken Age and Costume Quest. Hamble’s Fright or Fight Halloween Bundle has about 18 days left, with DEVOUR, Observer: System Redux and The Medium. The Indie Fears bundle has about 4 days left, so it is the one to decide on first.

Gary’s Take

Spend $2.49 on Fallout: New Vegas, which is the biggest bargain on the board, and grab DREDGE if you want something spooky before Halloween. Stray and Cult of the Lamb both sit a few dollars above their lowest recorded prices, so they can wait if you are patient. Claim both free Epic games, and decide on the Indie Fears Humble bundle before it ends.
