Fireside Feelings is an indie game from Team Empreintes that launched on Steam on June 7, 2025. Steam’s own description calls it a mental wellness experience that promotes empathy, connection and positivity: you gather around a campfire and read conversations between real people separated in space and time.

Best for: cozy-game fans, people who want a calm break, and anyone who likes reading other people’s honest takes.

What to Expect

You share your thoughts on a range of topics, some sweet and some more profound, and read what others have shared. Steam says the conversations are with real people but are not live, there is no direct interaction, and answers are moderated and filtered. Content warnings can be set to your preference.

As you play you unlock objects to furnish your campfire. It’s single-player with Steam achievements and Steam Cloud, and it’s Windows only, so Mac and Linux players can’t run it. We haven’t found a reliable estimate of how long it takes, so treat it as something to dip into at your own pace.

Claim it. It’s a well-rated game that costs nothing for a couple more days, and a cozy game like this never adds backlog guilt. Even if you only open it on a rough evening next month, a Very Positive game for $0 is an easy win.
