Humble Bundle: Beyond Reality VR: 7 Games From $5 (Ends Oct 28)
Humble just launched the Beyond Reality: Sci-Fi & Survival VR Collection: seven Steam VR games starting at $5. It runs until midnight ET on the night of Wednesday, October 28, and part of every purchase goes to the HPV Cancers Alliance.
You need a VR headset for every game in this bundle. The headliners are Star Trek: Infection, Layers of Fear VR and Blair Witch VR.
$5 to start · everything for $15 · ends Wed, Oct 28 at midnight ET · supports the HPV Cancers Alliance
What’s in the Bundle
Tiers stack: paying for a higher tier gets you everything below it too. All games come as Steam keys.
- $5: Blair Witch VR, Z.O.N.A Project X VR
- $10 adds: Z.O.N.A: Origin, Layers of Fear VR, A Rogue Escape
- $15 adds: Star Trek: Infection, Homeworld: Vast Reaches
Standouts
Layers of Fear VR is Mostly Positive on Steam (71% of about 280 reviews). Blair Witch VR (68%) and Star Trek: Infection (67% of about 90) are rated Mixed, and Homeworld: Vast Reaches has too few Steam reviews so far to judge. Steam lists Star Trek: Infection and Homeworld: Vast Reaches at $29.99 each and Blair Witch VR at $29.99 at time of posting.
Gary’s Call
Gary’s call: this is only for people who already own a VR headset and like horror or survival games. The $10 tier is the sweet spot with Layers of Fear VR and the Z.O.N.A games, while the $15 tier is a gamble because both extra games are new or Mixed. If you don’t have VR, there’s nothing here for you.
