Humble Bundle: Capcom Classics: 6 Games From $10 (Ends Oct 30)
Humble just launched the Capcom Classics Bundle: six Steam games from Capcom’s PlayStation-era catalog, starting at $10. It runs until midnight ET on the night of Friday, October 30, and part of every purchase goes to Breakthrough T1D.
The $10 tier is the original Resident Evil trilogy (1996, 1998 and 1999). The $20 tier adds Dino Crisis, Dino Crisis 2 and Breath of Fire IV.
$10 to start · everything for $20 · ends Fri, Oct 30 at midnight ET · supports Breakthrough T1D
What’s in the Bundle
Tiers stack: paying for a higher tier gets you everything below it too. All games come as Steam keys.
- $10: Resident Evil (1996), Resident Evil 2 (1998), Resident Evil 3 Nemesis (1999)
- $20 adds: Dino Crisis, Dino Crisis 2, Breath of Fire IV
Standouts
Resident Evil 2 (1998) is Very Positive on Steam (91% of about 2,300 reviews) and Resident Evil 3 Nemesis (1999) is Very Positive too (89%). Dino Crisis 2 is Very Positive (88% of about 770), while Breath of Fire IV, the only RPG in the box, is Mostly Positive (74%). These are the original releases, not the modern remakes, so expect old-school fixed cameras and tank-style controls. Steam lists RE2, RE3 Nemesis, Dino Crisis 2 and Breath of Fire IV at $9.99 each at time of posting.
Gary’s Call
Gary’s call: the $10 tier is the easy yes if you’re a Resident Evil fan or just curious how the series started: three games for about the price of one at Steam’s listed prices. Step up to $20 only if Dino Crisis or Breath of Fire IV is on your wishlist, because it doubles the price for three more games. If you want modern controls and graphics, skip it and look at the remakes instead.
Keep digging: every Humble Bundle live right now and more Humble Bundle posts.
