Today’s Loot: 4 Steam Deals Worth Your Gold
G2A buttons below lead to marketplace keys sold by independent sellers. Prices change hourly, so check the seller rating and the key’s region before you buy. How to buy cheap game keys safely.
Pony Island — Steam
Free to keep through October 12, down from $4.99. It’s a PC Steam giveaway, so add it to your library before the window closes. Price history: free is the lowest price a game can have, and SteamDB first recorded $0 on October 8, 2026, so today matches the floor. Reviews at time of posting: Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam (95% of about 14,800 reviews) and an 86 on Metacritic.
Best for: Puzzle and horror fans who like games that mess with the rules and don’t mind a short, strange ride.
Gary’s call: Claim it. It’s the earlier game from the developer behind Inscryption, and free is free.
The Talos Principle 2 — Steam
$2.99, down from $29.99, is 90% off. It’s a PC Steam purchase in the LudoNarraCon Sale, which runs through October 15. Price history: GG.deals lists a keyshop low of $2.40 at Kinguin, so today misses that by about 59 cents, but $2.99 is the best official-store price GG.deals shows right now. Reviews at time of posting: Very Positive on Steam (94% of about 12,600 reviews).
Best for: Puzzle fans who like thinking their way through big, quiet worlds and philosophical sci-fi stories.
Gary’s call: Buy. A 90% cut on a well-reviewed puzzle game is an easy yes, and you don’t need to have played the first one.
GRIS — Steam
$2.99, down from $14.99, is 80% off. It’s a PC Steam purchase, and GG.deals shows this price ending in about two days, around October 11. Price history: GG.deals lists $1.49 on Steam on July 10, 2025 as the all-time low, so today misses it by $1.50. Reviews at time of posting: Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam (96% of about 84,000 reviews) and an 84 on Metacritic.
Best for: Anyone who wants a short, gorgeous, low-stress platformer with no combat and no way to die.
Gary’s call: Buy. It misses its record low, but at three dollars it’s still a small price for one of the best-reviewed indie games around.
Outer Wilds — Steam
$12.49, down from $24.99, is 50% off. It’s a PC Steam purchase in the LudoNarraCon Sale, which runs through October 15. Price history: GG.deals lists $4.99 at the Epic Games Store on January 7, 2021 as the all-time low, so today misses it by $7.50. It also shows an official-store price of $11.78 at Gamebillet, slightly under Steam. Reviews at time of posting: Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam (95% of about 90,200 reviews) and an 85 on Metacritic.
Best for: Explorers who like mystery and discovery and want a game best played knowing as little as possible.
Gary’s call: Buy if you’ve never played it and don’t want to wait. It’s a fair half-off price, not a record low, so patient shoppers can hold out for a deeper cut.
Free on Epic Until October 15
Epic’s weekly giveaway runs until October 15 at 11 a.m. ET. Both games stay in your library for good once claimed.
Out of Sight — Epic Games Store
Free to keep until October 15 at 11 a.m. ET. It lists at $9.99 on Steam. Price history: free is the lowest price a game can have, so this giveaway matches the floor. Reviews at time of posting: Very Positive on Steam (95% of about 965 reviews) and an 80 on Metacritic.
Best for: Horror and puzzle fans who like a spooky mansion and a tense escape, played in short sessions.
Gary’s call: Claim it. You guide a blind girl out of a creepy mansion using her plush toy’s eyes, and free is free.
TerraScape — Epic Games Store
Free to keep until October 15 at 11 a.m. ET. It lists at $14.99 on Steam. Price history: free is the lowest price possible, so this giveaway matches the floor. Reviews at time of posting: Very Positive on Steam (89% of about 2,200 reviews).
Best for: Relaxed puzzle and city-builder fans who like placing buildings on floating islands.
Gary’s call: Claim it. It’s a calm medieval building puzzler with solo and multiplayer modes, and the price is zero.
Humble Bundle Loot
Checked October 9 against Humble’s current listings. The IGN 30th Anniversary Bundle tops out at $15 for seven games, including Remnant II, Subnautica and Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, and it ends tonight at midnight ET. The Run It Back Roguelikes Bundle is $13 for nine games, including Dome Keeper, Spellmasons and Chrono Ark, and it ends at the same time. The Capcom Classics Bundle is $20 at the top tier and runs through October 30.
Gary’s Take
Claim Pony Island before Monday, then spend three dollars on The Talos Principle 2 or GRIS while the LudoNarraCon prices last.
Everyone should also grab both free Epic games before next Thursday, and bundle fans have until midnight tonight on two Humble deals. Not sure a deal is real? Run it through my deal checklist.
