Best Games Coming in November 2026: Verified Release Dates
The best games with confirmed November 2026 release dates are The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake (Nov 5, Switch 2) and Grand Theft Auto VI (Nov 19, PS5 and Xbox Series). Around them sits a Switch 2 heavy month of ports and upgrades, plus a few new releases.
Every date below was checked against at least one dated source, and release dates can still move. Anything I could not confirm is left off. No trailers here, just dates, platforms and what each release is.

Week one: November 2 to 8
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (remake)
Nov 5 · Switch 2 exclusive · US price $59.99 digital, $69.99 physical
Nintendo announced the remake in a June 2026 Nintendo Direct and set the date during its Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct on Sept 8. Nintendo says the visuals are overhauled down to material textures, with a jump button, a new progress tracker called Threads of Time, and ocarina songs you can hum into the Switch 2 microphone.
It is the headline release of the month for anyone with a Switch 2. The first physical print run has textured foil cover art while supplies last.
Best for: Zelda fans, and anyone who skipped the 1998 original.
Edge of Memories
Nov 5 · PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam)
A third-person action RPG that RPG Site describes as blending JRPG traits with a French animation style. Pre-orders of the Deluxe Edition get early access on Nov 3, and a physical edition with a steelbook case is listed. I could not find a confirmed price.
Best for: players who want a new action RPG that is not a sequel.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition

A Switch 2 version of the 2021 story-driven action game. Gematsu reports a TV-mode Quality setting at 1440p and 30 fps, a Performance setting at 1080p and 40 fps, and 30 fps in handheld, plus a new set of glam rock outfits. The original Switch release was cloud-only.
Best for: Switch 2 owners who missed it the first time.
Stellar Blade Complete Edition
Nov 6 worldwide (Nov 5 at 7:00 a.m. PST) · Switch 2 · $59.99 digital and physical
The publisher’s release puts the launch at 00:00 KST/JST on Nov 6, which is Nov 5 in the US, so you may see both dates online. The physical edition carries the full game on the card. PS5 and PC owners get a free Bayonetta costume collaboration update, though I found no date for it.
Best for: Switch 2 players who want a big action game on the handheld. It is rated M, so plan accordingly.
Week two: November 9 to 15
Metaphor: ReFantazio
Nov 12 · Switch 2
Atlus’s fantasy RPG first launched on PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and PC on Oct 11, 2024. The Switch 2 physical release is a game-key card, and Western buyers can get a limited SteelBook edition at launch. Nintendo’s US store lists two pre-order bonus packs, the Archetype EXP Chest Set and the Adventurer’s Journey Pack.
Best for: JRPG fans who have been waiting for it on Nintendo hardware. If you own it elsewhere, there is no reason to rebuy.
Pikmin 4: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy

Gematsu lists higher-resolution visuals in TV and handheld modes, voice commands for Oatchi through the Switch 2 microphone, and a new Dandori Academy mode with 72 exam stages released over time. Dandori Battles can be played with a friend on one system, or through GameShare or GameChat without the friend owning the game.
I could not confirm the price or the upgrade path for current owners, so check Nintendo’s store page before buying.
Best for: Pikmin fans and families who like short, co-op friendly games.
Sonic Pico Park
The co-op action puzzle game series PICO PARK is back… and this time, we’re teaming up with SEGA’s legendary Sonic the Hedgehog! This collaboration is packed with co-op gameplay that combines the flair of Sonic with the puzzle teamwork fun of PICO PARK! Play locally or online with 2 to 8 players! Sonic dashes into the world of the hit indie game, PICO PARK! It supports online co-op and local split-screen co-op, and Steam files it under action, casual and indie.

A Sonic take on the Pico Park cooperative puzzle series, for 2 to 8 players locally or online with cross-play. No price was in the sources I read.
Best for: party nights where friendships are expendable.
Week three: November 16 to 22
Grand Theft Auto VI
Nov 19 · PS5, Xbox Series X|S
Rockstar’s own game page lists Nov 19, 2026 and the two consoles above, and no PC version has been announced there. The date was delayed from May 26, 2026, and Take-Two said in February 2026 that the game was on track for November.
It lands two weeks after Ocarina of Time, so your wallet may need a plan. A day-one purchase is a safer call than a pre-order if you like to see reviews first.
Best for: everyone, whether you like it or not. It will dominate November.
Dates to double-check
Stellar Blade shows up as Nov 5 on some schedules and Nov 6 on others. Both are right depending on your time zone, as explained above.
GTA VI has already moved once, so treat Nov 19 as a very likely date and not a guarantee until launch. A few smaller titles appear on only one schedule I checked (mostly small PC releases), so I left them out instead of guessing.
Gary’s Take
If you have a Switch 2, November is a month where the money goes fast. My ranking, based on what each release is and not on playing any of them: Ocarina of Time first, Metaphor second if you do not own it, Pikmin 4 third if you do not own the original.
If you are on PS5 or Xbox, the month is basically GTA VI, with Edge of Memories as the quieter alternative. Skip the upgrades of games you already own unless the new features are the point.
